The Preservation Society of Pawtucket (PSP) was incorporated in 1978 as a non-profit, membership-driven community organization devoted to identifying, and promoting and encouraging the preservation of the historical and architectural resources of the city of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, through education, advocacy, and technical assistance,. We are a diverse group of people concerned about the welfare of homes, buildings, schools, neighborhoods, businesses, and most importantly, the residents of Pawtucket. Our goals are to protect the integrity of neighborhoods, encourage policies that foster environmental and historic preservation, and promote a shared sense of community.
The Preservation Society of Pawtucket is a membership organization that relies on your generous, tax deductible donations for its existence. Support the PSP and its mission by becoming a member. Membership benefits include free use of our community resource services, a year's subscription to our quarterly newsletter "PSP News", discounted admission to our programs and events, and the satisfaction of knowing you are helping to make a difference in the City of Pawtucket.
